Trinity Little and Kaylie Yates helped the Clark County High School girls track team place third at the Van Buren County Relays Monday in Keosauqua.

The hosts won the meet. Van Buren County totaled 184 points while Cardinal of Eldon had 161 and Clark County 110. Davis County scored 50 and New London 27.

Yates was first first in the 400 meters in a time of 1 minute, 3.19 seconds with teammate Maggie Weaver in second at 1:06.93.

Trinity Little won the 3000 in 12:56.74 and was third in the 1500 in 6:15.61.

Yates finished in third place with a time of 2:53.8 in the 800 meters race.

Yates ran with Tianna Little, Madison Boyd and Maggie Weaver to win the 1600 relay in 4:51.31.

The Indians’ 3200 relay was second in 11:21.48.

Clark County was third in both the 400-meter relay (58.64) and 800 relay (2:02.92) as well as third in the sprint medley (2:12.98) and third in the distance medley (5:23.68).

Maci Cochenour leaped into second place in the long jump at 13 feet, 4.5 inches.

DeeDee Church took third in the shot with a put at 28-10.
